Continuing Developmental Services receives substantial refund from utility and telephone audit
Buffalo, NY – Continuing Developmental Services Inc. (CDS) has become another satisfied client of Troy & Banks, Inc. Troy & Banks was chosen to audit CDS’ utility and phone bills in the hopes of recovering overcharges due to utility and phone billing errors.
Located in Webster, New York, CDS is a non-for-profit organization that provides quality services to more than 1,500 people who live with developmental disabilities. Their mission is to support those who have developmental disabilities, while helping them to achieve their personal dreams.
Troy & Banks reviewed CDS’ utility and phone accounts to pinpoint and calculate potential billing errors and overcharges by their utility or telecommunications providers. During the course of the audit, Troy & Banks identified and recovered over $19,000 in overcharges on CDS’ utility and phone accounts, as well as another $24,000 due to a rate error. Sankar Sewnauth, President & CEO of CDS was very pleased at this discovery. Sewnauth states, “These are significant dollars that will go directly to help us continue to provide valuable programs & services that assist people with developmental disabilities.”
